  The Assembly Passed Bill A2612 ~ We Need You to Contact Your Senator(s)!

June 18, 2008 at about 9 p.m. the Assembly debated A2612. NYDEFA had many Assembyman speak out against this Bill, debating it about an hour before being put to a vote. When the votes where cast, the Board was all red with no votes. Then, as what usually happens, Assembly members were pressured to change their vote.
                                   Assembly Bill A2612 passed 76 to 59.
