Question: I found a fawn just laying in the field. What should I do? I don’t see a Mommy or another fawn. It’s all alone! Answer : Leave it alone! Do not disturb newborn fawns or any other young wildlife. Do not assume that young wildlife found alone are abandoned or in need of any assistance. Most young wildlife are separated and left alone for the specific purpose of their own survival! Mommy is out there...you just don’t see her.
