FAQ

New York Deer & Elk Farmers Association has just begun to design, build and create our Site. We have found that we all have some of the same questions. So, this page will be used to post those questions and provide answers to the best of our ability.

Question:  How do I find out who the New York State Senators are?
Answer :    Log onto www.senate.state.ny.us and locate NYS Senators by Zip
Code, Interactive Map or by District Number.

Question:  How do I find out who the New York State Assembly Members are?
Answer :    Log onto www.assembly.state.ny.us and locate Assembly members
                   by Name or Zip Code.

Question:  I found a fawn just laying in the field. What should I do?  I don’t see
a Mommy or another fawn. It’s all alone!
Answer :  Leave it alone!  Do not disturb newborn fawns or any other young
wildlife.  Do not assume that young wildlife found alone are
abandoned or in need of any assistance.  Most young wildlife are
separated and left alone for the specific purpose of their own survival!
Mommy is out there...you just don’t see her.

Question:  Do the hunting preserves in New York ‘standards’ to adhere to?
Answer :  Absolutely!  The Operating Standards for New York Hunting
Ranches is available by clicking here.
