   NYDEFA Effectively Stops Anti-Hunting and Anti-Farming Legislation!
                                           Senate Bill S784-A 

The New York State Senate Session adjourned for summer break Tuesday, June 24, 2008, 8:51p without approving Bill S784-A, commonly referred to as the  ‘Canned Hunt Bill’!

This could not have happened without the extraordinary efforts of Dave Vanderzee, President of NYDEFA, NYDEFA’s Board of Directors and Membership, Jeff Williams-NY Farm Bureau, Shawn Schafer-NADeFA, Darren LaSorda-NRA, Carl Marcellino-Environmental Conservation Committee, Senator Owen Johnson, and Senator Dale Volker and too many others to mention by name.  THANK YOU one and all!.
